EFFORTS TO CHANGE THE BEHAVIOR OF LETTUCE CULTIVATION IN KWT SEKAR ARUM HYDROPONICS
Abstract
The hydroponic training program as one of the efforts to realize agricultural development was initiated by the Agriculture and Plantation Service of the Kediri Regency because it saw the high market demand for hydroponic lettuce. KWT Sekar Arum is one of the selected ones, but its members have not been able to produce lettuce in a sustainable manner. The study method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The components observed were targets, objectives, materials, media and counseling methods then looked at the suitability of the media and methods for increasing target knowledge, as well as behavior in evaluating attitudes and skills. The results showed that by crosstabulation analysis the suitability of moderate media variations increased knowledge (low 5, high 4), and high media variations also increased knowledge (2 high). While the variety of methods is increasing knowledge (7 low, 4 high). Evaluation of counseling: attitude aspect reached 77.4% (agreed), skill aspect reached 83.1% (skilled).
