EFFECT OF BIOURINE APPLICATION AND Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) ON SHALLOT PLANTS
Abstract
Biourine is a liquid organic fertilizer as a source of nutrients for shallot plants. PGPR as a biological fertilizer can help the absorption of nutrients by plants. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of biourine and PGPR on shallot growth and yield. This study used a factorial randomized block design. The first factor is biourine with two levels, namely 100 ml/liter and 200 ml/liter. The second factor was PGPR with 3 levels, namely 15 ml/liter, 30 ml/liter and 45 ml/liter. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh tuber weight, dry tuber consumption, number of tubers. The results showed that the best treatment was the application of 200 ml/liter biourine and 30 ml/liter PGPR (B2P2). The average fresh weight of tubers in the best treatment was 86.25 g, dry tubers consumed 72.08 g.
