Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the main food crops cultivated by farmers in Indonesia. One of the rice-producing areas is in Ngawi Regency, East Java. Along with the fulfillment of paddy into rice for the food needs of the Indonesian population, there is a need for the availability of quality seeds, in the Kwadungan District is one of the seed producers that are produced directly by farmers in the region. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the analysis of farming and variables that affect the income of rice seed farming. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. Determination of the target sample using purposive sampling technique, as well as data analysis used is the analysis of farming and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the results of the analysis of farming are higher on the farmers' own land and several variables that affect the income of rice seed farming, namely experience, land area, seed costs, and pesticide costs.
