DISEMINASI INOVASI SALURAN DAN MARGIN PEMASARAN BAWANG MERAH DI DESA TORONGREJO KECAMATAN JUNREJO KOTA BATU
Abstract
Shallots are horticultural commodities classified as spiced vegetables where this commodity is quite important as a source of income for farmers and state income. Dissemination of innovation is an important communication activity in encouraging the process of dissemination and implementation of technology in a rural social system. Torongrejo Village has 10 farmer groups and 1 group, and there are 7 farmer groups that cultivate shallots. The existence of several shallot marketing channels does not guarantee an increase in farmers' income, many farmers do not know how to market properly and correctly to increase income, not a few farmers complain because the prices given by traders are not in accordance with what they want. The purpose of this research is to find out the preparation of counseling designs on shallot marketing channels in Torongrejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City, and to find out the level of knowledge and attitudes of farmers about shallot marketing channels in Torongrejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. Meanwhile, the results of the extension evaluation in this study are aspects of knowledge and attitudes of farmers. Evaluation of the level of knowledge and attitude of farmers is carried out by providing post-test questionnaires. The evaluation results showed that the level of knowledge of farmers in Torongrejo Village was classified as a high category with a percentage of 60.95%, and in the evaluation of farmers' attitudes was classified as a high category with a percentage of 69.44%. It also shows that farmers pay attention and follow extension activities well
