KOTORAN SAPI SEBAGAI PUPUK ORGANIK PADAT DI DESA NGLUYU KECAMATAN NGLUYU KABUPATEN NGANJUK

Abstract

Potential of 423 cows, providing 3 million kg of cow dung/year as organic fertilizer. Agricultural counseling is carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of farmers in utilizing cow dung as solid organic fertilizer. The place of implementation is in Ngluyu Village, Ngluyu District from April to May 2023. The research method was carried out using a quantitative descriptive method. The extension design aims to increase the knowledge, skills and attitudes of farmers in the use of cow dung as solid organic fertilizer, the target of counseling is 40 farmers, the counseling material is the use of cow dung as solid organic fertilizer and its manufacture, lecture methods, discussions, demonstrations of methods and practices, media in the form of power point slides, leaflets and real objects. The results of the evaluation obtained the level of knowledge included in the Creating category (80.50%) while the evaluation of the attitude level obtained the value of the category of forming a lifestyle (84.19%) and the evaluation of the skill level obtained a value in the adaptation category (82.36%). Hopefully the results of this research can be a reference in agricultural development, especially in Ngluyu Village, Ngluyu District, Nganjuk Regency.
