Teknik Pembibitan Ayam KUB-2 Janaka Terstandar di Provinsi Banten
Abstract
bobot telur, hen day production, produksi kuri, dan bobot kuri. Hasil penelitian (1) umur
induk ayam KUB-2 Janaka dibagi menjadi dua yaitu umur 40-44 minggu dan 24-28
minggu, (2) total produksi telur 5.660 butir (≥ 39 gram 51%), (3) rerata bobot telur asal
induk ayam KUB-2 Janaka 39,85 gram dan rerata bobot telur asal induk muda ayam
KUB-2 Janaka 36,13 gram. Bobot telur asal indukan dengan bobot telur asal indukan
muda signifikan berbeda, (4) Hen Day Production indukan 57% dan indukan muda
47%, (5) produksi kuri 727 ekor (daya tetas 81,4%). Bobot kuri 30,8 gram dengan ciri
warna kaki/shank kuning dan variasi warna bulu kekuningan, kecokelatan hingga
kehitaman. Bobot telur signifikan berhubungan kuat dengan bobot kuri. Performa kuri
dan induk ayam KUB-2 Janaka merepresentasikan pemberian pakan terstandar sesuai
SNI 7783-1:2013 dan SNI 7783-3:2013. Hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa pembibitan
ayam KUB-2 Janaka di BPSIP Banten terstandar memenuhi SNI.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe the breeding technique of KUB-2 Janaka chickens,
standardized according to SNI 8405-2:2023. The research was conducted from
February to March 2024 at IP2SIP Singamerta AISA, Banten. A quantitative,
experimental approach was used to collect data on the age of KUB-2 Janaka parent
chickens and daily feeding consumption, egg production, egg weight, hen day
production, DOC production, and DOC weight. The findings were as follows: (1) the
parent chickens were categorized into age groups of 36-44 weeks and younger parents
aged 20-28 weeks; (2) total egg production was 5,660 eggs, with 51% meeting the
weight standard; (3) the average weight of eggs from KUB-2 Janaka parent chickens
was 39.75 grams, while eggs from younger parents averaged 35.78 grams, indicating a
significant difference; (4) DOC production was 727, with a hatchability rate of 81.5%.
An average DOC weight of 30.8 grams has yellow shank and various of yellowish,
brownish to blackish feather color. There was a strong, significant correlation between
egg weight and DOC weight. The DOC and layer performance of KUB-2 Janaka were
reflection of feeding consumption standardized according to SNI 7783-1:2013 and SNI
7783-3:2013.
